Introduction

This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position; within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Scheduling Assistant is responsible for taking messages for the scheduling team to schedule patient testing, procedures, indexing, admissions; obtaining accurate demographic patient information including the phone number for the patient

In this role you will:

• Represent organization as a top-notch service-oriented business
• Take message from caller, including all demographic info and phone number for a return call
• Indexes orders for procedures in order management system as needed
• Order and report reconciliation, including physician follow up for resolution
• Review physician orders for quality assurance
• Use judgment in escalating unresolved issues to management
• Perform outbound calls to obtain information, this includes faxing and emailing
• You will be on the phone 90% of your day

Qualifications:

• Previous Call Center experience preferred
• Medical office experience preferred
• Experience using multiple applications on a computer using the internet
