Job Summary:

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its growing Neuroscience Program in Gainesville, Florida.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Prior neuroscience, neurosurgery, or neurointerventional experience required
  
  

Position Highlights:

• Outpatient, clinic-based role
• No call responsibilities
• Focus on the evaluation and management of neurosurgery and neurointerventional patients
• High degree of autonomy with exposure to a diverse and complex patient population
• Collaborative practice environment within a large, multidisciplinary neuroscience team
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations
• Evaluate and prepare patients for surgical intervention
• Complete preoperative assessments and surgical workups
• Manage medication refills and prescription requests
• Provide ongoing outpatient follow-up and patient care coordination
