Job Summary And Qualifications
The QualityCoordinatoris responsible for performing concurrent and retrospective quality management / practice improvementreviewsas defined by the individual departments / divisions includingcomplication & mortality review,nationalquality indicatorreview,TJC indicator/standards reviewand other specified indicator monitoring, data entry and database management.The Quality Coordinatoris an active participant in point-of-care improvement activities as well as staff education based on opportunity assessment/gap analyses findings. The Quality Coordinatormayalso assists in the collection/reportingof data for peer review to support the credentialing and reappointment process.This staff member will provide the coordination for programs as assignedby theManager orVice President of Qualitysuch as Sepsis, Stroke, Peer Review, and CancerCare.
