As an Echo Tech on our team, your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to read
- Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system
- Maintain accountability for his/her own knowledge and skills, and supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital
- Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to life threatening situations
- Must be able to perform special non-invasive procedures (M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, Electrocardiograms, Signal averaged Electrocardiograms and Holter Monitoring)
- Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians
- RVT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Meditech knowledge
- 1 to 3 years of experience
