The hospital provides the only full-service cardiovascular program in Seminole and West Volusia, including open heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation and comprehensive diagnostic services. Other specialized services include orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, wound care, acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services.

Qualified Candidates:
- Qualified candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
- Family Medicine and Internal Medicine board certified candidates accepted with 6,000 hours experience or 3 years of experience immediately prior to coming to HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital
- ACLS & PALS required
- Independent contractor 1099 opportunity

About West Volusia FSER:
- Brand new free-standing emergency room with 10 beds plus trauma room opened July 2025
- Fully integrated with HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center
- Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
