Job Summary And Qualifications
As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. As an anesthesia technician you'll support anesthesiologists and other anesthesia providers by managing and maintaining equipment, ensuring sterile techniques, monitoring patients, and assisting with procedures. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will play a key role in supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.

Job Summary And Qualifications
As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. As an anesthesia technician you'll support anesthesiologists and other anesthesia providers by managing and maintaining equipment, ensuring sterile techniques, monitoring patients, and assisting with procedures. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will play a key role in supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
- Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
- Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
- Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
- Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
- Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights
- Promoting consistent positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or Technical certification
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program - highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- 1 year of anesthesia tech experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
