WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:
- Provides skilled direct lactation care and instruction to breastfeeding mothers and infants
- Promotes breastfeeding
- Assists with facilitating change within the clinical setting using evidence-based care management
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
- Educate patients while providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
- 1 year of RN experience in lactation support is required
- BSN is preferred
