Job Summary:

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our dynamic team Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be board certified NCCPA or AANP/ANCC
• One-year Emergency Room experience as an APP
• Will accept new Emergency NP or NP/PA with Emergency Medicine fellowship
• Must obtain ATLS within six months of starting
• Mixed schedule, some nights required

• FWDH: 309 bed HCA level 2 trauma facility
• 44 bed Emergency Department with fast track
• 8 hours pediatric Emergency Room coverage daily
• Medical ICU- 33 beds (plus an additional 8 CVICU beds)
• Stealth navigation system with O arm and Mazor spine robot
• Certified primary stroke center working towards comprehensive stroke certification
• Currently hosting 3rd and 4th year D.O. students from Auburn’s VCOM (D.O.) School
• IM residency program started 2024
