HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 380 bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation. We are a recipient of the American Heart Association’s Gold Fit Friendly Designation. We have an onsite day care program, Happy Cubs, a 24 hour employee fitness center and a healthy work environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
- Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
- Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
- Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
- Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Work Experience as a Paramedic or LPN in a Critical Care Unit (ICU or Cardiac Care) in lieu of Degree
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), preferred, new associates required to have within 24 months from date of hire. BLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 6 months of hire.
