What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound Care Nurse position at HC&N Healthcare Solutions?
Wound Care Nurse RN or LPN
Our facility is looking for an experienced Wound Care Nurse to join our ever growing team.
Wound Care Nurse Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly
- Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurses on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
- Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods
- Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy
- Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents
Wound Care Nurse Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be a self starter, hard working and dedicated professional willing to join our team.
- Current and valid RN or LPN license in the State of TN
- Active CPR Certificate
- Point Click a Plus
- Wound care certification desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in LTC preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and a team player
