Assistant Administrator – Skilled Nursing Facility


About Us:

Our skilled nursing facility is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our residents while fostering a supportive and professional environment for our staff. We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Administrator to help oversee daily operations and ensure quality care and compliance.

Assistant Administrator Position Overview:

The Assistant Administrator will support the Administrator in managing facility operations, regulatory compliance, staff management, and resident satisfaction. This role is ideal for an organized and proactive professional looking to grow in healthcare leadership.

Assistant Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily management of facility operations and staff supervision.

  • Support compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Help manage budgets, expenses, and operational efficiency.

  • Assist in staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure high-quality resident care.

  • Act as a liaison with families, vendors, and community partners.

Assistant Administrator Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for nursing facilities (federal and state).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively.

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field preferred.

  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) certification is a plus.

Salary: Up to $100,000 per year
(based on experience)
