Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Surveyor role based in Nashville, TN. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting structure, Layout like foundation, columns, slabs, embed, anchor rods, etc. setting project benchmarks, and ensuring the accuracy of site measurements. The role also involves collaborating with the project management and construction teams to interpret blueprints and layouts and ensuring construction aligns with design specifications. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in site visits and problem-solving to ensure project milestones are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in surveying methods, equipment operation, and GPS systems
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, maps, and technical drawings
- Experience with CAD software and other survey-related technologies
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on construction sites and assess ground conditions
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and data collection
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with project teams
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications, such as Professional Land Surveyor licensure, are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial construction is advantageous
