Responsibilities
- Supervise residents daily activities, ensuring safety and adherence to community guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Assist with childcare responsibilities for residents with children, promoting healthy development
- Support behavioral health and behavior management strategies to encourage positive behaviors
- Conduct intake assessments and case management activities to develop personalized care plans
- Administer medication and perform first aid when necessary, following proper protocols
- Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and data collection related to resident progress and incidents
- Monitor security of the facility by conducting routine checks and ensuring a safe environment
- Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in residential or social service settings
- Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
- Experience in childcare, addiction counseling, or behavioral health is highly desirable
- Knowledge of security procedures, conflict management, and behavioral health practices
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs or home & community care experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to perform medication administration and basic first aid procedures accurately
- Competency in data entry, filing, and data collection to maintain thorough records
