Join the team at Hill Bros. Transportation as a full-time Customer Service Representative in our Bulk Logistics division. You'll serve as the vital communication link between our customers, drivers, and operations teams—ensuring smooth freight movements and exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do
Customer Communication & Service
- Proactively communicate truck arrivals and delivery updates to customers via phone and email
- Respond to customer inquiries in real time with accurate, professional information
- Address scheduling issues and resolve problems quickly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through responsive service
Appointment Scheduling & Coordination
- Set and reschedule pickup and delivery appointments using computer systems
- Coordinate with customers and drivers to optimize scheduling and minimize delays
- Balance customer needs with operational constraints to maximize efficiency
- Monitor appointment status and proactively address conflicts
Data Management & System Accuracy
- Enter load information and customer data into systems accurately and in real time
- Build and maintain comprehensive customer profiles with facility details and directions
- Research and prevent duplicate customer codes to maintain data integrity
- Close out completed loads and ensure all documentation is properly recorded
Technical & Administrative Support
- Conduct EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) auditing for accuracy
- Maintain website information and update content as needed
- Ensure drivers have accurate directions and facility-specific information
- Support systems that enhance customer communication and operational efficiency

What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required

- Professional phone manner and customer service orientation
Preferred:
- Customer service experience in any industry
- Experience with data entry or administrative coordination
- Familiarity with logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
