Summary:
Reporting to the CIO, the HBKS IT Manager is responsible for the day-to-day support of information systems delivering HBKS core business functions. The IT Manager acts as technical resource to HBKS’s CEO, COO and Director of Operations in support, maintenance and security initiatives that align with the Firm’s overall strategic plan and its commitment to its staff, its clients, and its communities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
- 3 years’ experience with financial technology for financial advisors
- Equivalent experience managing and supporting Microsoft cloud technologies like Microsoft Entra ID, AutoPilot, Intune and the Office 365 suite: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM user experience
- Understanding of Meraki Networks and VPN technologies.
- Proven successful execution/completion of technology projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated managerial and mentoring abilities.
- Naturally self-motivated and detailed oriented.
- Resourceful and innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for technology and interest in exploring new technologies.
- Willingness to travel to remote offices and industry events as needed.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule hours to ensure successful completion of projects.
Operational Management
- Ensure the technical operations of HBKS platforms.
- Maintain documentation of procedures, operations, and configurations.
- Implement features to maximize value and user experience.
- Maintain awareness and identify security concerns.
- Comply and enforce IT related policies and procedures throughout the company.
- Appropriately prioritize both IT projects and day-to-day support.
- Collaborate with managed service provider for help desk and support.
- Contribute as requested to strategic technology planning and direction of projects.
- Understand business needs of an RIA and translate into information systems.
- Educate staff on technology and how to use it as a strategic asset.
- Stay up to date with key technology development/issues within the financial advisor industry and implement new products to maintain and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to operations team.
- Coordinate appropriate resources to successfully execute tasks and projects.
