What We’re Looking For:
- A CA licensed Attorney with litigation experience in Employment Law.
- A passion for advocating for clients in matters such as wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and workplace harassment.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- A team player who is eager to collaborate and contribute to the firm's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to employers and employees on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Review employment contracts, handbooks, policies, and severance agreements.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and negotiate settlements.
- Represent clients before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, DFEH, or NLRB.
- Collaborate with colleagues to strategize case approaches and achieve client objectives.
- Stay current on changes in employment laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely counsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in California.
- 6 years of experience practicing Employment Law.
- Proven litigation experience, including handling cases from inception to resolution.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- A client-focused attitude with a commitment to achieving results.
