Exceptional people have always been central to the firm's success, and we strive to hire the best and brightest individuals in all areas of our organization.

Program Overview

The HBK Rotational Analyst Program offers early-career professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across several areas of the firm’s core business functions. Over the course of two years, analysts complete approximately three rotations across key teams such as Risk Management, Strats, and Treasury.

During each rotation, analysts are fully integrated into their teams, working alongside senior professionals and contributing to impactful projects. The program combines mentorship, structured training, and professional development designed to build a comprehensive understanding of HBK’s business and prepare analysts for long-term success within the firm.

The HBK Risk Management Team designs and implements risk and performance measurement frameworks that underpin HBK’s risk oversight processes. The team delivers both quantitative and qualitative analyses that inform daily decision-making and guide risk-taking across the firm’s discretionary investment strategies. By collaborating with cross-functional partners in Portfolio Management, Strats, Treasury, Accounting, and Operations, the team ensures effective identification, measurement, and communication of market, liquidity, and operational risks. Combining analytical rigor with technological innovation, the Risk Management Team drives continuous enhancement of HBK’s risk measurement capabilities.

The HBK Strats Team develops and maintains the analytical and technological foundation that supports HBK’s investment and risk management processes. Operating at the intersection of quantitative research and software engineering, Strats partner directly with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Risk professionals to design high-impact tools for pricing, risk assessment, and relative value analysis. With deep financial product expertise, the team builds scalable models and production-quality code to support real-time decision-making. Strats combine financial intuition, technical precision, and rapid solution development to enhance HBK’s trading strategies and portfolio analytics.

The HBK Treasury Team is responsible for managing the firm’s funding, liquidity, and counterparty exposure across all trading activities. Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, and Risk professionals, Treasury ensures efficient capital allocation and robust liquidity management that support HBK’s investment strategies. The team combines strong quantitative and analytical skills with clear communication and sound judgment to optimize financing structures and minimize funding risk across the firm’s global portfolios.
