We’re seeking a highly motivated, self-starting, relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our team. You will be the first dedicated sales hire at HBC Decks, playing a key role in building our future sales culture.
This is a commission-only role with uncapped earning potential, ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, thrives without a roadmap, and is hungry to grow alongside a fast-scaling company.
- Develop and maintain relationships with homeowners, designers, and contractors.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and present customized outdoor living solutions.
- Communicate the value of HBC Decks’ premium products (Trex, TimberTech, CabanaX, etc.).
- Deliver exceptional customer service from the first meeting through project completion.
- Manage your pipeline, follow up with leads, and close sales consistently.
- Proactively generate your own leads and opportunities — not just work those provided.
- Bring creativity, drive, and discipline to building the sales process and culture for the future team.
- Represent HBC Decks’ Culture, Client, and Quality (CCQ) values at all times.
- Proven sales experience with a track record of self-sourced success.
- Background in outdoor living, construction, home improvement, real estate, or design preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer care.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — thrives on independence and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
