HIRING: Construction Bookkeeper

Hb2 Construction Inc. is an owner-operated residential remodel company in Sheridan, OR. We are looking for a hybrid-remote Bookkeeper to join our team. Our projects are focused within a 40 mile radius from Salem. As a hybrid-remote Bookkeeper, most tasks can be completed from your home office. You will be required to visit the Sheridan office as-needed to access and organize physical files. Meetings with the owner and office assistant have the flexibility to be held in person at the office, a Salem meet up, or over Zoom. In this role, you will assist with payroll processing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

This role will start at part-time hours to onboard and create a workflow alongside the owner. There is potential for this role to grow to full time hours for someone willing to take on additional office administration and explore the potential to maximize process efficiency.

PART TIME

MONDAY-FRIDAY

PAY RANGE: $22-25 hourly based on experience

Your tasks will include:

• Maintain precise records of all vendor payments
• Monitor tax liabilities and ensure tax liabilities are paid on time
• Responsible for paying and keeping record of all invoices
• Keep track of all company credit card spending, and make payments on credit accounts
• Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy
• Work collaboratively with project managers to monitor project costs
• Assist with payroll and tax filing preparation
• Research and approve new vendors and create new vendor accounts

A qualified Accounts Specialist has the following skills:

• AS/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preffered
• Proven experience with industry-leading accounting software (QuickBooks)
• Comfortable with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Functional knowledge of database and spreadsheet tools
• Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed
• Strong communication and organizational skills
