Assistant Project Manager

As a Project Manager Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting project managers with the estimation, organization, and oversight of diverse flooring projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for drawing project scopes and details using estimation software.
• Provides the required up-to-date copies of drawings and specifications to subcontractors.
• Assists the Project Manager with all phases of any given project.
• Initiates product purchases and ensures that project materials have arrived before the start date in coordination with the purchasing department.
• Issues, tracks, and responds to RFIs in an efficient and timely manner.
• Serves as a backup to the Project Manager and participates directly in Project Management initiatives in their absence.
• Ensures comprehensive project documentation by filing notes, documents, and project-related emails.
• Helps with any administrative overflow as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Construction or management-related education preferred
