Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay: $33/hour

Experience: 2 to 4 years Accounts Payable experience; high-volume or multi-entity preferred.

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

HB Staffing is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Process invoices, verify documentation, and ensure accurate coding.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and process payments in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate AP records and assist with month-end closing tasks.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve AP issues.
• Utilize accounting systems and Excel to manage AP workflows.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
