Residential Plumber - IT Landes Home Service Team - Sign-on Bonus Available

This position will report to HB Home Services, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global. ROLE: Plumbing Technician ***This position is eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. *** Paid over the first year of employment, subject to continued employment and company bonus terms. POSITION SUMMARY: The Plumbing Technician works with our residential plumbing team to provide our customers with top notch service, experience-based solutions, and professional system installations. Duties would be installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential plumbing equipment and systems. Best candidates would have abilities to service, repair and install water heaters, water filtration systems, toilets, faucets, showers, sinks, garbage disposals, drain lines, piping, water lines and well pumps. General electrical knowledge is required for diagnosing and installation of electrical components of plumbing systems. Abilities to run sewer line camera, locating and clearing would be a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform install/replacement work on, but not limited to, toilets, sinks, appliances, water heaters, water treatment systems, disposals, sump, and grinder pumps, well pumps and sewer lines. Troubleshoot issues with plumbing fixtures and equipment to replace/install Evaluate residential plumbing problems and take proper corrective action Display teamwork and strive for excellence in all areas Follow service Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines Perform work within OSHA guidelines Maintain clean organized and mechanically sound company provided service vehicle Working knowledge of trade related tools Operating knowledge of residential plumbing applications MINIMUM / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: High school diploma, completion of G.E.D. Operating knowledge and working proficiency with hand-held computer (i.e. smartphone, tablet). Minimum 3 yrs. experience specific to the residential plumbing industry Knowledge of basic electricity and other electrical safety Ability to read, understand and work from specifications and drawings. Ability to bend, stoop, reach or stand, lift, and move heavy objects Ability to perform math computations needed in the trade Tablet and smart phone skills Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED: Trade school education is preferred but not required Journeyman license preferred, not required Sewer jetting / excavation experience preferred CDL license is a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
