HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Lithia Springs, GA to support our growing commercial construction projects. If you’re passionate about making an impact, driving compliance, and building a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team.
- Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Lead and manage confined space entry operations, including permit-required confined spaces
- Coordinate and support confined space rescue planning and readiness, ensuring proper equipment, personnel, and emergency protocols are in place
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience required
- OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Strong hands on knowledge of confined space safety standards
- Must have prior direct safety oversight of confined space entry and rescue experience.
- Excellent verbal and written skills
