HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.
- Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Daily safety audits and inspections
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
- Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
- Minimum 6 years of progressive safety leadership experience in construction, demonstrating a track record of implementing innovative safety solutions and reducing workplace incidents
- Degree in a safety related field, CHST or CSP strongly preferred
- OSHA 500
- Advance knowledge of construction safety standards. Pharmaceutical experience a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
