HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.
- Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Daily safety audits and inspections
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
- Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
- Minimum 5 - 7 years direct construction safety experience required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and state/local construction safety regulations
- Experience with incident investigations, RCA, CAPA, and corrective action closure
- Degree in a safety related field preferred. OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus
- Pharmaceutical, GMP, Commissioning, or Regulated Construction experience preferred
- Basica Data Analysis preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
