Hazley Commercial Construction is a relationship-driven commercial construction firm based in West Chester, PA. We specialize in complex, high-quality commercial projects and are seeking a Commercial Site Superintendent III to lead field operations from mobilization through project completion.

This role is for a highly experienced field leader who understands commercial construction at a senior level, including project sequencing, site logistics, subcontractor coordination, and team leadership. This is a hands-on field leadership role, not an office-based position.

The Opportunity
We are hiring a Commercial Site Superintendent III with 15 years of commercial construction experience. You will be responsible for managing field operations on large, complex, or multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to Hazley standards.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Leadership while serving as the senior field authority and mentor to other superintendents and field staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complex commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion
• Manage project phasing, sequencing, and site logistics for larger or multi-phase projects
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers to align schedule, budget, and execution
• Anticipate major field challenges and proactively develop solutions
• Identify potential risks related to schedule, logistics, or site conditions
• Implement mitigation strategies before issues impact project performance
• Lead and mentor junior superintendents and field personnel
• Provide leadership across multiple project sites when necessary
• Represent Hazley in client meetings, site walkthroughs, and coordination meetings
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Ensure Hazley standards for safety and craftsmanship are upheld across projects
• Oversee final punch lists and project closeout

Required Qualifications

• 15 years of commercial construction experience
• Proven experience managing large or complex projects
• Exceptional leadership and field management ability
• Deep knowledge of construction methods and sequencing
• Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore preferred)
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required; additional construction-related training preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Physical & Job Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting on active job sites
• Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Ability to work on ladders and roofs up to 50 feet
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed
• Ability to work at a computer when required
