Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Project Accountant to join our successful environmental engineering firm.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Has a Business or Accounting degree or relevant accounting experience
- Has a positive attitude, professional demeanor and appearance
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Can multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, problem solving and deadline-driven environment
- Must be extremely organized, detail oriented and task oriented
- Is comfortable learning new technologies, tools and platforms
- Has Strong computer skills in MS Office, PDF and Windows applications
- Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint is a plus
Duties include:
- Preparing and sending accurate invoices in a timely matter using client-specific formatting
- Coordinating with Project Managers to receive and incorporate their draft invoice comments and reports into final invoices.
- Emailing and Submitting invoices through client portals
- Coordinating with Subconsultants to ensure their invoices are accurate and meet our clients’ requirements
- Opening and closing projects
- A/R Review and assisting in collection efforts
- Entering and posting subconsultant invoices
- Preparing other reports as necessary
