Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an Principal Electrical Engineer for our Saratoga Springs and Buffalo New York offices. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of electrical power, lighting, and motor control system design and analysis for water, wastewater, reuse, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Integrating with design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction of substation, generators, pump stations, and/or treatment facilities.
- Field investigations and site visits from design through construction.
- Electrical systems design and analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 - 15 years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology (MS or MEng Preferred)
- Professional Engineering license in NY
- Self-starter with attention to detail
- Candidate must possess excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Must be proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- BIM/CADD and other software (ETAP, SKM, etc.) skills are a plus.

Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
