HAZEMAG, the industry leader of aggregate and minerals processing equipment, impact crusher design, and control technology, is seeking a mechanical project engineer to support design activities in their Mount Braddock, PA office. The ideal candidate is proficient with AutoDesk 2D AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks and is self-motivated, detail oriented, proactive, and innovative. The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment is critical. This position will primarily conduct design activities within the engineering department to support manufacturing processes and customer needs.

Primary Duties:
· Create and organize drawing packages and assembly drawings for the manufacture of new equipment; create dimension sheets and spare parts lists for new and existing equipment; create equipment shipping sketches showing sizes and weights.
· Update manufacturing drawings to reflect current company design standards; model/draw existing equipment in order to create clearer, more detailed manufacturing drawings.
· Create equipment hydraulic arrangements.
· Work with various departments to design modifications to existing heavy equipment; send design sketches to manufacturing shops for quotation; and forward costing to the spare parts or sales departments. After receipt of order, create and submit manufacturing drawings to the manufacturing shop and create customer installation sketches for the design modifications.
· Support the customers, shops, and internal departments by answering engineering and technical questions; create conceptual illustrations of designs for customers.
· Design equipment guarding and create the associated manufacturing drawings.
· Select drive components and create customer drive layout drawings; work with customer engineering companies to design and answer questions pertaining to accessory equipment.
· Organize incoming data/drawings from vendors and our parent company.
· Create 2D and 3D CAD artwork for the sales department.
· Conduct quality inspections on finished equipment and components.
· Create or update Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
· Develop cost estimates for new equipment.
· Manage the acquisition of equipment sold through our parent company; serve as primary customer contact throughout this process.
