What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Phlebotomy Instructor-POOL position at Haywood Community College?
Provide basic training for the entry-level skills needed to work as a phlebotomist in various health care settings. Instruct phlebotomy students in classroom, laboratory and clinical setting to learn the skills needed to work as a phlebotomist.
This position posting runs on a continuous open cycle and creates a pool of candidates for consideration when part time employment is available. Minimum
- High school Diploma
- A minimum of 1 year experience as a Phlebotomist
- Must be able to travel to clinical sites for student placement and clinical experience
Preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of prior teaching experience in a classroom/lab setting
- Prior teaching experience in a community college
- ASCP /ASPT certified
