Pastry / Bakery Prep Cook

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and presentation.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Chef on duty and cook line to ensure smooth service and timely service.
• Assist with plating, packaging, and presentation for service.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure all prep upholds the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
   

Qualifications:

• MUST be available on SUNDAYS
• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry, or kitchen role.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and ingredients.
• Ability to follow recipes, work efficiently, and multitask in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality in all products.
• Passion for baking and an enthusiasm for learning new skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment.
