- Assist experienced technicians with installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems across various property types
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to support system installation and troubleshooting
- Support maintenance tasks on air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and other mechanical equipment
- Conduct basic electrical testing using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose system issues
- Participate in field service activities including appliance repair, equipment repair, welding, and general property maintenance
- Help ensure safety standards are maintained during all service operations and adhere to company protocols
- Support the use of specialized tools and equipment for HVAC/R work while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Prior experience or training in construction, service technician roles, or property maintenance is highly desirable
- Familiarity with HVAC/R equipment such as air conditioning units, boilers, and related appliances
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and welding techniques
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a
driver is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently
- Willingness to learn new skills related to field service operations and appliance repairs
