Position Summary:
Position Summary
The Cannabis Trim Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring automated trimming equipment to ensure efficient processing of cannabis flower. This role requires attention to detail, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and the ability to meet production goals while preserving product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cannabis trimming machines safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload cannabis flower into trimming equipment.
- Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functionality and output.
- Perform regular cleaning, adjustments, and minor maintenance on machines.
- Inspect trimmed cannabis to ensure consistent quality and compliance with company standards.
- Weigh, record, and track product through each stage of trimming.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
- Follow all state, local, and company regulations regarding cannabis handling.
- Assist with other cultivation or processing duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior experience in cannabis cultivation, processing, or manufacturing environment (preferred but not required).
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements a plus.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced production/processing facility.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Exposure to loud machinery, strong plant odors, and varying temperatures.
