We're working with Vantor on this exciting opportunity.

Vantor is expanding its system footprint to meet evolving customer needs, offering a chance to make a tangible impact on critical objectives. This role involves collaborating with AI/ML researchers, software engineers, and cybersecurity teams to leverage open-source tools in building and maintaining a private cloud and AI/ML infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to hardware and software outages across the platform.

• Maintain infrastructure supporting Data Science and Analysis R&D activities.

• Implement cybersecurity remediations in collaboration with security teams.

• Upgrade, deploy, and integrate applications on the platform.

• Add and configure new hardware within multiple compute clusters.

• Review, update, and improve existing procedures and documentation.

What You'll Need:

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI and ability to obtain a CI polygraph.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 additional years of experience); requires at least 2 years of Linux system administration experience.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker/Podman, Packer, GitLab, and GitLab Runners.

• Skilled in Tier 1 and Tier 2 support with proven ability to troubleshoot complex environments.

• Capable of supporting a broad range of tasks, including software upgrades, patching, system monitoring, and R&D.

• Willing to work full-time on-site in Herndon, VA, with a demonstrated ability to operate as a self-starter.
