The Role
• Partner with quantitative research and investment teams to design, build, and support a portfolio optimization and back-testing ecosystem.
• Collaborate with software engineers and quantitative developers on hands-on development.
• Develop and enhance scalable, low-latency financial systems.
• Work within a cloud environment, applying CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Translate requirements into actionable development plans in partnership with stakeholders.
• Contribute to system architecture and design patterns for complex financial applications.
What You'll Need
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in financial services, preferably in asset management.
• Experience leveraging industry-scale optimization libraries (e.g., Gurobi, Cplex, SciPy).
• Proficiency in Python and experience with micro-services/RESTful APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to design highly scalable and low latency systems.
• Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS preferred) and knowledge of CI/CD & DevOps.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, OOP, functional programming, and data modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computational field (Master’s preferred).
