The Role
• Design, build, and operate large-scale, distributed security detection systems.
• Collaborate with applied scientists and security researchers to transform research outcomes into scalable, production-ready systems.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, from conception to maintenance.
• Conduct design and code reviews, providing feedback on architecture, integration, scalability, and performance.
• Operate in a highly available, customer-facing environment with on-call responsibilities.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement long-term improvements.
What You'll Need
• 5 years of professional software development experience.
• 5 years of programming experience in at least one software language.
• 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience with security frameworks, cloud computing and security, AI security, or threat intelligence is a plus.
