Principal Systems Security Engineer

We are partnering with a global aerospace and defense technology company that delivers innovative solutions across commercial and government sectors. This organization is at the forefront of developing advanced systems that protect national security and enable critical missions across air, land, sea, space, and cyber domains.

The Role

• Interact with customers to define Systems Security Engineering (SSE) requirements, solutions, and costs
• Develop plans, estimates, project tracking, and risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
• Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues
• Support the development of bids and proposals
• Define and integrate cybersecurity development activities for embedded weapons systems
  
  

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance
• Proven experience in System Security Engineering and/or Cybersecurity Engineering
• Strong background with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility
