Power BI Analyst

We are working with a state public health department that is at the forefront of modernizing its data infrastructure to improve public health outcomes. This organisation is replacing outdated manual tracking methods with advanced automated solutions, leveraging Microsoft Power BI and Power Pages to deliver real-time insights and streamline operations. Joining this team means contributing to a critical initiative that enhances data governance and provides stakeholders with immediate, actionable analytics, directly impacting public health services.

The Role

• Design, build, and manage Power BI data models, dashboards, and reports to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Clean, transform, and shape raw data using Power Query and SQL.
• Develop stable relational data models and write custom DAX measures.
• Create dynamic, multi-page dashboards and scorecards.
• Deliver enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages).
  
  

What You'll Need

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong skills in DAX, including calculated columns, measures, and complex filters.
• Expertise in Power Query (M) and ETL from multiple data sources.
• Solid data modeling experience with relational and star schemas (fact and dimension tables).
• Ability to design, configure, and customize Power Pages sites, including forms, lists, security, and authentication.
• Experience with SQL queries and Excel for ad hoc analysis.
• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 2 years of data analysis, BI, or report-writing experience.
