The Role
The Role
- Own release engineering across multiple teams, coordinating and executing deployments.
- Build and continuously improve automated deployment paths for Azure PaaS applications.
- Migrate pipelines and repos from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions, creating repeatable templates.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for secure and scalable delivery.
- Identify and resolve delivery friction points to enhance shipping speed and safety.
- Create scripts and tooling using PowerShell, Python, and Bash to automate manual tasks.
- Enable developer self-service for repos, pipelines, and containers through automation.
- Support and empower agile teams to manage their own delivery processes.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, or cloud engineering with strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Genuine engineering mindset with a focus on automation and building solutions.
- Expertise in Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS), including function apps, App Service, networking, and Key Vault.
- Deep experience with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Proven release engineering experience coordinating cross-team deployments with shared dependencies.
- Experience running infrastructure and deployments for .NET and Maven in production.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
- Well-versed in building, running, and debugging applications in C#/.NET, Java, Node.js, and TypeScript.
