What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Haystack?
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications within Oracle EBS.
• Configure and support EBS modules across Financials, Procurement, and Projects to meet evolving operational and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with developers to design, test, and deploy extensions, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation using SQL and other diagnostic tools.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues through root-cause analysis and coordination with support teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, test scripts, and user procedures.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting and configuring Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles and their translation into ERP workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with EBS data structures, reporting, and integrations.
• Ability to configure setups, personalize forms, and support application functionality within EBS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
