- Oversee day-to-day operations of the evaluation and compliance team, ensuring technical excellence and proper risk documentation.
- Guide algorithm developers from various agencies through security and governance gates, providing a clear roadmap for successful deployment.
- Translate complex system vulnerabilities and compliance risks into clear, actionable briefings for senior government decision-makers.
- Manage customer governance frameworks and navigate the complex path to getting advanced AI systems accredited for operational use.
- 9-13 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, Information Assurance (IA), or Systems Engineering within the IC/DoW ecosystem.
- Expertise in breaking down complex, custom risk management policies and applying them to secure modern software networks.
- Proven track record of managing technical teams and handling high-pressure interactions with government customers and external agency partners.
- Deep practical familiarity with the traditional RMF/ATO lifecycle, continuous monitoring, and security control assessment.
- Exceptional ability to absorb, operationalise, and enforce agency-specific compliance and validation standards.
- A high-level conceptual understanding of software pipelines and data flow, sufficient to assess system risk.
