This well-capitalized real estate investment and development firm has a strong and growing presence across the Northeast, with billions invested in acquisitions, capital improvements, and large-scale repositioning projects. The firm has delivered several high-profile redevelopment initiatives valued in the hundreds of millions, transforming underutilized assets into institutional-quality properties across office, life sciences, and mixed-use sectors.
With a diverse and expanding portfolio, the company is continuing to scale its multifamily platform, including two luxury rental assets currently in operation as well as multiple properties in the construction phase that will deliver in the next two years. As part of this growth, the firm is building out its internal property management capabilities to support long-term operational excellence.
Your new role
Based out of Woodbridge New Jersey, the Vice President of Multifamily Operations will lead the strategic transition from a third-party property management model to a fully integrated, in-house platform. This individual will oversee the existing luxury multifamily rental portfolio and upcoming developments, ensuring consistency and performance across the portfolio.
As the Vice President, this individual will have direct oversight of two luxury rental properties currently in operation, in addition to preparing and supporting lease-up efforts for new construction assets. This role will be responsible for building the infrastructure, systems, and processes needed to support long-term scalability.
The Vice President will manage on-site teams, implement best-in-class operating procedures, and partner closely with asset management, development, and leasing teams to drive operational excellence across both stabilized and lease-up assets.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this Vice President role, candidates will possess the following:
- 10-15 years of experience in multifamily property management with leadership responsibility
- Experience building or transitioning to an in-house property management platform strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage teams across multiple properties and locations
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and driving NOI performance
- Experience supporting lease-up or ground-up development projects preferred
- Familiarity with property management systems such as Yardi, MRI, or similar
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
