About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Software Manual Tester (QA) to join a collaborative QA/Engineering team. This role is well‑suited for someone who learns quickly, manages multiple priorities effectively, and enjoys hands‑on testing in a fast‑paced environment.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA professionals to ensure software applications meet quality standards and deliver a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design manual test cases to validate software functionality
- Execute test cases and clearly document testing results
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug‑tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Perform smoke, regression, and exploratory testing
- Validate bug fixes and conduct re‑testing
- Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and requirements analysis
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices
- Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and overall product quality
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of manual software testing experience
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
- Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases
- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium or Postman
- Experience using Azure DevOps
