We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead project delivery in our Virginia market.
Your new role
The Senior Project Manager is a central position in the company, requiring complete technical knowledge of the construction process with a strong focus on quality, client satisfaction and organizational leadership. The Sr. PM manages multiple teams of project managers, project engineers, and superintendents. Ultimately, this person is responsible for ensuring each and every project is completed on time, under budget and exceeds client expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience, or a combination of work and education may be substituted.
- Graduate degree, preferred
- 8-12 years’ experience managing commercial construction projects as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
- Develop and track leads on upcoming projects with new clients
- Build relationships and networking to acquire business from new clients
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create a written narrative for pre-qualification and bid package and proposals.
- Participate in budget creation with estimating, and accepting responsibility for the logistical/common sense overview to ensure profitability and constructability
- Manage multiple teams and complex construction projects simultaneously while ensuring financial discipline, adherence to schedule, and quality
- Create all project objectives and milestones
- Lead internal staff meetings with PM teams to ensure projects meet financial and schedule requirements.
- Maintain subcontractor relations for each project, especially for large / complex projects
