About the Company
A growing and diversified organization is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Tampa, FL. Your New Role
In this role, you will collaborate closely with external fund administrators to ensure reporting is timely, accurate, and compliant with GAAP and SEC requirements. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing expenses, allocations, management fee calculations, net asset value calculations, and investor notices such as capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, and equalization. You will also prepare annual and quarterly financial statements, investor capital statements, and treasury documentation, while coordinating with compliance personnel to complete required SEC and regulatory reports. Your responsibilities will extend to general partnership and employee incentive vehicle accounting, where you will prepare financial statements, reconciliations, payables and receivables, and waterfall calculations. You will support treasury processes, budgeting, and forecasting, and deliver quarterly and annual financial statements to stakeholders.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and be CPA eligible. You should have at least one year of accounting experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with SageIntacct, Bill.com, Carta, or iPaladin is preferred. Looking for someone who thrives in a small, collegial environment, is self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and analytical ability are essential.
