Your new role
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and permitting authorities.
- Assist sales teams with preliminary project analysis, material take-offs, and technical queries.
- Prepare construction documents such as plans, assembly drawings, and details for ground-mounted racking systems.
- Carry out engineering analysis, including structural calculations, in line with relevant codes and standards.
- Propose and validate design improvements to reduce material usage and overall system cost without compromising quality.
- Support quality control processes, including documentation reviews and First Article Inspections (FAIs).
- Review project documentation to identify potential challenges.
- Stay current with best design practices and emerging technologies.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD
- 3D modelling experience beneficial
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of code requirements and ability to apply them effectively.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
