Your new role
As a Manufacturing Accountant, you will support the financial operations tied directly to production and plant performance. The position partners closely with operations and plant leadership to ensure accurate cost tracking, inventory management, and operational reporting. You will play a key role in providing visibility into manufacturing performance while supporting continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing recurring manufacturing financial reports, including cost and variance analysis
- Supporting month-end close activities, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing inventory and work-in-process accounting across all production stages
- Collaborating with operations to improve cost standards, production data, and ERP accuracy
What you'll need to succeed
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, WIP, standard costing, and variance analysis
- Hands-on ERP experience within a manufacturing environment (NetSuite highly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
