A strong Atlanta-area civil contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join its preconstruction team.

Compensation: $120,000–$170,000 based on experience

What You’ll Estimate
- Site development
- Mass grading & earthwork
- Water, sewer & storm utilities
- Commercial & industrial sites
- Residential developments
- Distribution & logistics facilities
What You’ll Handle
- Prepare estimates, takeoffs, and competitive bids
- Price grading, earthwork, and utility scopes
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricing
- Support conceptual budgeting and preconstruction
- Identify cost risks and value-engineering opportunities
- Participate in bid reviews and project turnover
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of civil construction estimating experience
- Experience with sitework, earthwork, grading, and/or underground utilities
- Strong understanding of civil plans and specifications
- Experience with estimating/takeoff software
- Background estimating commercial, industrial, or residential development projects
