Your new role
- Lead energy audits and feasibility studies for multifamily and commercial buildings
- Develop electrification and decarbonization strategies aligned with local laws
- Conduct energy modeling and analysis to support retrofit and optimization projects
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to implement energy-saving measures
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical development
- Support incentive program applications and compliance documentation
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Energy, or Building Systems Engineering
- 5 years of experience in energy consulting or building systems design
- Proficiency in energy modeling tools and spreadsheet-based analysis
- Familiarity with NYC/NYS energy codes and incentive programs (e.g., LL87, LL97, NYSERDA)
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experience with building commissioning, retrofits, and electrification strategies

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
