Your Responsibilities
As an Invoice Compliance Specialist, you will manage the intake, review, and processing of outside counsel invoices across more than 75 countries. Your duties include ensuring invoices comply with client guidelines, tracking and submitting invoices for approval, and negotiating discounts where necessary. You will generate reports for internal stakeholders, identify process improvement opportunities, and resolve billing disputes. Additionally, you will handle ad hoc projects and maintain strong communication with both internal teams and external counsel.
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment—ideally within a top 20 firm. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Legal Tracker is preferred. You must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential.
