- Analyze the current applet implementation in IBM WebSphere.
- Design and implement a migration strategy to move the applet to IntelliJ IDEA or C#.
- Refactor and rewrite code as necessary to ensure compatibility and performance.

- Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Document the migration process and provide support during the transition period.
- Short term project to rewrite applet that is written using Websphere
- Ideally moving job from Websphere to IntelliJ
- Applet and several service side projects that need to be moved
- Applet currently runs in an IE Window and their next update will not support the applet anymore - delaying windows update
- Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java applets.
- Experience with IBM WebSphere and IntelliJ IDEA OR Proficiency in C# and a willingness to work with both languages.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Our client is seeking a Java Developer - Migration in DeLand, FL.
Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for migrating a Java applet from IBM WebSphere to IntelliJ IDEA or C#. You will work closely with our development team to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
